We, the kids, are watching and we don't like what we see

TIME FOR FOR KIDS TO TAKE THE LEAD

Kids4Tolerance champions bipartisanship by promoting and teaching political tolerance.

It is time we listen more and hate less.

BUILDING BRIDGES FOR A BETTER FUTURE

Do your parents never stop talking politics?

Is the news on all the time? We hear you! At our homes too!

But I don’t know about you, but I think the adults have lost the plot. Lately they seem angry and nothing seems to be getting better. America feels more divided than ever.

And the division is not just in the adult spaces. We see it in our classrooms and even on the playgrounds Being bullied for political ideology is one of the fastest categories of bullying in schools.

At younger and younger ages, kids are talking politics. And many are getting angry just like their parents even starting to hate the "other side."

This division is not good for America, its up to the kids to save. it.

Welcome to Kids4Tolerance.

United States Political Balance

Kids4Tolerance is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to restoring empathy, curiosity, and civil dialogue for the next generation.

We empower "kids" to become bridge-builders—not by avoiding tough conversations or seeing the "other side" as bad, but by learning to approach differences with open minds and compassionate hearts.

“You need red and blue to color the American flag.”
 —Jacob Levin Brody, Founder

WHY WE EXIST:

Most tolerance organizations focus on identity—race, gender, religion, and other personal traits. That’s important. But at Kids4Tolerance, we focus on a growing and urgent gap: tolerance for ideas.

We exist because the adults are failing in teaching the tolerance necessary for a thriving democracy.  We hope that kids can lead a new future. One of mutual respect and discussion.

Political Compromise and Partisanship

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER:

Jacob Levin Brody was bullied at summer camp for doing something brave. On night 2 at camp, a kid shouted "We are all democrats here right?" Jacob bravely said he wasn't.

The response?
His bunkmates didn’t just disagree—they decided he was a bad person. They called him a racist. They told him he hated “Mexicans.” They threw his bed to thr gound and excluded him on grounds of him being "a bad person."

Heartbroken, Jacob came home and asked his parents a simple but chilling question:

“If 11-year-olds are already hurting each other over politics, what’s going to happen when these kids turn 18 and can vote?”

That was the moment he realized: America is fighting a different kind of cancer—a cancer of intolerance. And Jacob knows a lot about cancer. At age 5, he was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive disease and fought for his life for two years.

He’s a proud cancer survivor and advocate. But now he’s fighting something else that he believes is hurting kids: the belief that it’s okay to hate people who think differently.
